Job Description

Esperanza Resort is an Exclusive Resort on Cabo's Baja Peninsula. We are a Sales & Marketing Office located in Santa Monica. Ideal candidates will enjoy an entrepreneurial environment, while maximizing room revenue by establishing rates, packages and yield management practices. Manage all distribution channels, GDS, website and third party organizations to drive business. Create reports and procedures to maximize business levels, analyze historical data and determine pace to improve room revenue performance year after year.

Skills/Background

Job Requirements:

-Work well in team environment

-Create operating procedures and departmental protocol.

-Create and or manage reporting of data to supervisor

-Excellent computer skills.

-Ensure the reservation process is professional and efficient

-Prepare weekly forecast, pace yield strategies, month end and other reports as needed

-Studies industry trends, tracks bookings and analyzes data to develop selling strategies in order to achieve each properties revenue goals

-Develops booking pace tables by market segment to support forecast projections

-Review monthly shopping calls with each agent, set goals and provide necessary training for improvement and consistency

-Manage multiple reservations scenarios and customer service feedback with maturity to completion.

-Provide clear, pleasant and courteous phone & written communication with proper use of grammar, tone, and pronunciation.

-Ascertain guest's needs in such a way as to exceed the guest's expectations.

-Promote a warm and welcoming rapport with all telephone callers.

-Desire to learn and apply specific sales training techniques.

-Detail oriented-Possess strong organizational skills.

-English/Spanish BILINGUAL is a PLUS.

Minimum 2 year hospitality experience required
